SURROUNDINGS

The landscape goes  changing from Plasencia to Baños de Montemayor or Hervas, being clearly noticed both in the vegetation and in the good climate. Popular mountainous architecture has wonderful samples in almost all de the towns: we have to mention specially the Jewish Quarter in Hervas and some of the neighbourhoods of Aldeanueva del Camino.

The Ambroz Valley in its southern part has some towns that offer the visitor the possibility to know some samples of the popular architecture, religious or civil buildings and even archeological remains of great interest from the Roman period.
